Dr. Jake Schisler
Dr. Jake Schisler grew up in Bay City, Michigan, and graduated from Albion College in 2013, with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry. He was part of the swim team at Albion, which is how he met his wife, Rachael. He continued his education by attending Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona.
Dr. Jake began his career in dentistry working for the United States Army, based out of Fort Stewart, Georgia. He served as the Brigade Dental Surgeon for 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, and loved his time taking care of Soldiers.
Since leaving Active Duty, Dr. Jake has found a strong passion for implant dentistry. He received a fellowship from the California Implant Institute (through UNLV) and loves all aspects of implant dentistry, from mini-implant denture stabilization, to immediate placement and full-arch restoration.
Dr. Jake is very passionate about health and fitness, and loves being a part of Crossfit Holland. He enjoys golfing, skiing, and Detroit sports, but mostly loves spending time with their six daughters, twins Harper and Raegan and quadruplets Ella, Rylee, Emersyn, and Layla. Dr. Jake can't wait to meet you and provide you with high quality dental care!
Dr. Ty Rollin
Dr. Ty Rollin grew up in Beal City, Michigan. He played baseball at Central Michigan University and graduated with a degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2019. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan in 2023.
Inspired by his parents—a Speech-Language Pathologist and a Physical Therapist—Dr. Ty was drawn to a career where he could help people in a hands-on way. He became interested in dentistry in high school and today focuses on building lasting relationships and delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
Outside the office, Dr. Ty enjoys watching and playing sports, including golf, disc golf, bowling, and cornhole. He loves cooking and grilling, traveling (including a memorable trip to Southeast Asia), and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Emily Reinhardt Getz
Dr. Emily Reinhardt Getz joined the Infinity Dental team in 2020. She is a native of Birch Run, Michigan, and has just relocated to the Grand Rapids region. Her undergraduate studies included a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University, followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, which she received in 2019.
Dr. Emily has wanted to be a dentist since she was a child. While pursuing her degrees, she had the opportunity to shadow and assist in a dental practice, which solidified her decision. She enjoys spending time in the clinical setting with her employees and patients while maintaining a positive, easygoing atmosphere. One of her favorite features of dentistry is the constant developments and learning opportunities that allow her to pursue her passion.
Dr. Emily and her husband Dr. Austin Getz have 2 boys and like spending time with their friends and family, as well as trying new restaurants and cuisines together. Emily participated in a variety of sports as a child and now enjoys rooting for her favorite teams. She's up for a friendly competition at any time.
Dr. Emily is ecstatic to be delivering care in such a warm and welcoming environment with such lovely patients, and she looks forward to continuing to form bonds with everyone she meets.
Dr. Logan A Wood
Dr Logan received his Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University. He then attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where he focused heavily on digitally augmented dental care, material sciences, and minimally invasive methods to treat dental conditions.
Dr. Logan loves learning new techniques and utilizing the latest and greatest technology to provide his patients the best possible care. He doesn't miss any opportunities to expand his skills and develop new ways to provide painless and non invasive treatment. He believes technology is going to change everyone's perception of the dentist, making dental visits faster, easier and more comfortable for patients.
His memberships include The Michigan Dental Association, The Vacationland Dental Society, The American Dental Association and The Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Logan is originally from Rochester, MI and has recently relocated to the west side of Michigan. After graduation from dental school, he practiced in the Petoskey area where he had spent many wonderful summers and winters growing up. Dr. Logan loves the outdoors and being near the water. When he is not at the office, he loves to play hockey, fish, golf, mountain bike, ski, and spend time with family and friends.
Dr. Samar Mikhail D.D.S
Dr Samar (pronounced "Summer") Mikhail has been practicing dentistry for 20 years. She and her family have just relocated to West Michigan from California to be closer to their family. Dr Samar was one of the youngest graduates in her class at Howard University Collage of Dentistry in 2003. She has always wanted to be a dentist and enjoys engaging with patients and helping them feel comfortable with treatment and partnering with them to achieve the smile and overall dental health they desire through conservative, comfortable and gentle dentistry. She is passionate about the artistic, creative and cosmetic side of dentistry and loves that dentistry is a marriage of science and art.
Travel and culture are important to Dr Samar and she has lived in 4 countries and 7 states. Dr Samar and her husband, Joe love exploring new places and venturing around the world and forming memorable experiences with their two children. They feel blessed to have found a perfect place to settle down and raise their children with the unique charm and warm people of Western Michigan.
